OC Classic Car Fans Brave the Rain at 3rd Annual Sunset Classic Car Show & Concert

(October 5, 2023) – A little rain couldn’t stop a crowd of over 1,000 Orange County car enthusiasts from enjoying the 3rd annual Sunset Classic Car Show and Concert at Mile Square Park on September 30th.

Organized by Orange County Supervisor Andrew Do, the free community event featured over 100 classic cars, local food vendors, and musical performances by DJ Tempoe, Corazón De Maná, and 80s tribute band, The Reflexx

“We’re energized to bring our community together at our annual car show and concert,” said Supervisor Andrew Do, who represents the First District on the Board of Supervisors. “Rain can’t put a damper on our community spirit.”

The free community event, hosted in collaboration with OC Parks, also featured a wide selection of local food vendors, including:

Luna’s Catering and Food Truck

Frutti di Mare

Hacienda Habachi

Kettle Corn King

MexiCali Candy

“The success of our annual car show is about more than cool cars and great food,” said OC Supervisor Andrew Do. “It highlights our rich cultural diversity and reflects our success in building a strong sense of community spirit.”

It may have been raining cats and dogs Saturday, but it was all Jaguars and Rovers in the eyes of classic car fans.
